Witches and Bitches
Remote artistic residency promoted by the Sibling Collab collective (UK)
Based on a call for entries titled Witches and Bitches, I was selected to participate in an online residency that brought together artists from different fields who addressed themes related to the monstrous, the repulsive, and the corporeal, focusing on the female experience.
Between May and July 2022, I participated in various workshops with the eight selected artists and developed a series of illustrations and GIFs, as well as an original text that was included in the online publication resulting from the residency period. This project was an important moment of experimentation that gave rise to the Bruxa project, connecting my investigation into the monstrous feminine with the exploration of the history of witchcraft persecution.
