Proyecto 'ace
During my artistic residency at Proyecto 'ace in Buenos Aires, I began my investigation into the feminine as a territory of estrangement and deviation in a society structured around a normative masculine ideal. Starting from my practice exploring the figure of the monster, which until then had been devoid of gender issues, I began to delve into the relationship between the feminine and the monstrous, creating illustrations with creatures that explored this intersection.
As a result of the residency, I carried out an intervention in the Proyecto 'ace space, using the windows as an exhibition medium, to explore the overlapping and visual combinations allowed by the transparency of the glass. The interplay of layers created new interpretations from the encounter between images, also allowing for interactivity with the monstrous female creatures and other represented symbols.
